What Is Moorti Nirnay?
Moorti Nirnay is a classical method from the Phaladeepika for gauging a transiting planet's effective strength — not by its natural or positional dignity, but by which house it currently occupies counting from your natal Moon sign. Each of the nine grahas has its own 12-house table of results, classified into four tiers.
The Four Tiers
Full strength — the most favorable transit result for this planet.
Strong transit result, generally favorable.
Moderate transit result — mixed effects.
Weakest transit result — effects are muted or require more effort.
